The Mis-use of a Muse

Its amazing that since I have limited comments to my posts (read as- “not allowing”),  how intelligent the comments have become.

I became increasingly annoyed by the Bot and senseless spam posts stating how great my posts and  site was.  Even when I was I was posting that the site had been down.

Thought I would post a “Whats on my Android phone apps list”

So here goes…btw…apps with !! after them are what I consider Must Haves.

• Camera 360 Free a very good camera app, with lots of features.
• Floating Image good screen saver that shows images from many sources.
• Tricorder
• Fast Camera as the app says its a fast camera loads faster than the normal camera, some loss of resolution.
• Relax and Sleep good ambient noise app, plenty of relaxing sound to choose from.  Almost think this is a Must Have…almost.
• AppBrain App Market !!   Easy way to update and view your apps for download and what is on your phone now.
• Solo very cool guitar simulator, one of the few apps I have bought.
• Slacker Radio Good for making your own stations Free service is good.
• Pandora Radio Another “radio” service one of the best.
• Bluetooth File Transfer just with the title says.
• My Maps Editor by Google good editor for your Google maps.
• MortPlayer Music (beta) !!   Best music/mp3 player for Android IMHO
• Inserty (free) !!   Why type common things like your name,email address and so on, use this to insert common phrases.
• Qik Video good video upload service, almost a Must Have.
• Layar Reality Browser still not sure what how to use this, but they say its the future of browsing
• Call Blocker Pro seems to work ok, sometimes.
• WHERE !!   great for finding things around you and other useful info in your area.
• Battery Left Widget always good to know if your battery is nearly dead.
• Quick System Info some useful info is given by this app.
• Uninstaller !!   one of the easiest ways to uninstall an app I have found.
• WHDH New England News
• ASTRO File Manager !!   This should be the first app you install when you buy your new phone. Period! Too many features to list.
• antivirus free !!  why dont you have this on your phone already?
• Barcode Scanner !!  Useful in so many ways, but most of all to quickly download apps to your phone.  You do know what a QR barcode is?
• Springpad note pad
• WordPress app to view and update your WP blog or website.
• Dialer One a replacement dailer which Im still not sure I like but I use…
• Microsoft Tag Reader another type of barcode reader.
• Google Voice !!   come one, its free use it as your voicemail at least.
• Text-To-Speech Extended !!  needed for good voice to text reading.
• Google Translate good translate program  not always useful
• eBay this is the actual app from the website works good
• Advanced Task Killer !!   the best app to reset and kill running apps that are hogging memory and space.
• Aldiko Book Reader!!  best eBook reader that is free.
• MortPlayer Widgets (beta)
• Google Goggles go to Googles site, see if you really need this.  Im still not sure.
• Twitter well its the official app from Twitter, Im just starting to get sick of Twitter so I didnt make it a Must Have..
• Facebook for Android !!  official app for Facebook.  Works great.
• Wheres My Droid !!  if you lose your phone and cant find it in the house or anywhere else you need this app before then..
• Voice Text !!  as the program says  use your voice to record text messages
• Video Player !!  needed if you want to watch videos
• Skyfire Browser 2.0 (beta) !!  IMHO the best browser out there till Firefox gets on the Android bandwagon
• SilentMode OnOff
• Shopper a scanner for shopping, helps with prices and comparison, dont use it very much
• Ringo Pro – Ringtones Manager !!  you need this app if you want to use ringtones other then the pre installed ones.
• Ringdroid !! you need this app if you want to use ringtones other then the pre installed ones.
• Mobile Defense (BETA) !!  if your phone is lost or stolen you can lock it from your desktop and then find it.  Gotta Have!
• Microsorb free app for use with Orb
• Google Sky Map cool app, but really how much are you going to use this?
• Dropbox cloud computing…download files from your storage box.
• Compass when you need one you have one.
• Bump very good program to transfer files and programs form one phone to another..a bit buggy
• Bubble a bubble level, when you need one, you need this.
• Beautiful Widgets
• BatteryLife
• AnyStop: MBTA
• Alarming! Alarm Clock
• 3banana Notes
• Google Maps !!  with the new Google Navigator it uses Maps for directions..gotta have.

Well thats my list as of today, always changing as I find new and fun apps to play with.

Fundamentalists: believe 2+2 =5 because It Is Written. Somewhere. They have a lot of trouble on their tax returns.

“Moderate” believers: live their lives on the basis that 2+2=4. but go regularly to church to be told that 2+2 once made 5, or will one day make 5, or in a very real and spiritual sense should make 5.

“Moderate” atheists: know that 2+2 =4 but think it impolite to say so too loudly as people who think 2+2=5 might be offended.

“Militant” atheists: “Oh for pity’s sake. HERE. Two pebbles. Two more pebbles. FOUR pebbles. What is WRONG with you people?”
