The Mis-use of a Muse

Cindigirl, Cindi, Cindi Jimu,Cinderella was named after her great, great grandmother Cinderella Anthony, a niece of Susan B. Anthony. She is also related to Lizzie Borden (famous axe murderess,her mother was Sarah Anthony) and Donna Reed.

She prefers Cindi Jimu as her nome d’ plume and Cindi in person.

Cindi studied at the Museum of Fine Arts School and Bridgewater State College.

Along with being a published cartoonist, comic book colorist, computer graphic artist and web designer, Cindi is also experienced with Japanese language and culture. Her artwork has appeared in Women in Fur 2001 and cover artist in Women in Fur 2004 from Shanda Fantasy Arts. During the late 1990s her art was requested for display at the Museum of Erotic Art in Barcelona, Spain. She also worked on concept and character designs for an amusement/theme park in Las Vegas, Nevada that unfortunately never got built.   Her art has been seen and reviewed in: The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Sex on the Net Page 196 by Jim & Rachel Anders ISBN 0-7897-1798-0

She also briefly worked as body guard and escort (no! not that kind!) to John Denver and Jacques Cousteau.  She used to live in Las Vegas; one of her many jobs was as a magician at CircusCircus in the late 1970′s.

Her family is from Massachusetts and still live mostly on the South Shore. Her father was a TV/Radio/Newspaper journalist and a member of the Kennedy Administration. Her mother was a Surgical Nurse and then a Pysch Nurse both at Mass General and then for the Brockton Veterans Hospital; she is now retired. She has three brothers, two in the restaurant business and one in the movie biz. Her two sons both go to college in Virginia.
